Why RhetoScore
My doctoral research asks a single question: can the sound-structure of Tang poetry be formally transcribed into music? The Five-Level system and Rhetorical Figure Mapping are this research’s answer. RhetoScore turns that answer into a tool anyone can use: enter a poem, and what you hear is not incidental “background music” but the poem’s own sound-structure, translated into music. Every generation is a public test of the methodology.
